Up and at’em early this morning. Got a busy, busy day ahead at SooFoo HQ. Working on a lot of exciting things for the future! As a result, I had to throw together a quick breakfast. Fortunately, I had some leftover cooked SooFoo in the fridge. So I tossed in a bowl with a little milk and a few dried cranberries, and enjoyed myself some SooFoo cereal. Not bad at all!
This morning’s exercise: moving couches at the office, you just never know what you’ll do in any given day here.
To show support for my endevour, our amazing staff here at SooFoo HQ surprised me with a gourmet lunch. The menu included SooFoo Sloppy Joes, SooFoo Kale Salad, and fruit salad. Unbelievable! The full recipes will be posted to the website soon.
As for tonight’s dinner, it will be left-over SooFoo Kale Salad; I can’t get enough of it!
Results also came in today for my initial physical exam. I’ll tell you right up front, I’m a fairly healthy guy. However, I still expect my health to be improved, especially in the cholesterol range.
CHOLESTEROL 201mg/dL HIGH (normal range: 125-199) CHOL/HDL 2.3 ratio NORMAL (normal range: 0-5.0) HDL-CHOL 86 mg/dL NORMAL (normal range: 40-120) LDL-CHOL 107 mg/dL NORMAL (normal range: 0-130) TRIGLYCERIDES 42 mg/dL NORMAL (normal range: 0-150)
WEIGHT 142 lbs (note: Due to fasting for over 12 hours before the exam, I was probably 2-3 lbs less than normal)
Still waiting for my blood pressure.
Day 1 was easy. Let’s see how it goes after a few days and with my cooking as opposed to the awesome lunch I was spoiled with today. Thanks for reading!
