A SooFoo Lifestyle

I’m doing the SooFoo30 Challenge to show how SooFoo can contribute to a nutritional diet.  However, a nutritional diet is only part of living healthy.  I would never claim to be a health expert, but I know what works for me.  I’m in my mid-30’s and probably in the best shape of my life.  The trick…staying active and eating healthy or using moderation when I don’t.

What does staying active mean for me?  I’m not a gym guy and never have been.  The thought of driving somewhere to workout is exhausting.  Therefore, I do most of my exercising in the great outdoors or at home.  Unless the weather is really, really uncooperative, I try to get outside as much as possible.  Whether it’s cycling, running, climbing, kayaking, rafting, skiing, or just going for a long walk, it’s all good for the body and soul.  Plus, there’s so much to see out there!

I also do some very simple strength training that I’ll share in a later post.
